Smiltene Wind Farm – Construction Progress Update

After a technological pause due to low temperatures, concreting works for the turbine foundation piles have resumed. Starting from 26.02.2026, the concreting of the first turbine foundations is also scheduled. The approval process for the mobile concrete plant with the relevant state authorities is ongoing. Until the mobile concrete plant is approved, concrete is being supplied from the nearest available concrete plants.

Road infrastructure works continue on a minimal scale, with approximately 90% of the total scope of roads and hardstand areas completed.
