Smiltene Wind Farm – Construction Progress Update

Foundation pile installation works for the wind turbines are ongoing. The first two foundation structures have been concreted. The next foundation concreting works are planned for the end of March this year. To reduce the impact on the road infrastructure being used, and in coordination with VSIA “Latvijas Valsts ceļi”, the number of roads used for the wind park construction has been reduced. We continue to monitor the condition of the used roads on a daily basis and carry out the necessary maintenance works.
