Smiltene Wind Farm – Construction Progress Update

On 4 June 2026, the concreting works of the foundations for all wind turbines will be completed. During the summer period, electrical installation works will continue. By mid-June, the preparation of access roads for turbine deliveries will be completed. The general contractor continues to carry out maintenance of the access roads under its responsibility.

Deliveries of wind turbine components are ongoing and are expected to continue throughout June. From the beginning of June, the lifting and subsequent assembly of wind turbine steel towers are planned. At the same time, the mobilization and installation of the main erection cranes are scheduled for early June.
